The dog days of summer are upon us, and it's time for Wonderwall.com to round up the best and worst fashion of this steamy month. First up? Monochrome moments aren't always A+ fashion moments. Take the all-brown getup Justin Bieber wore in Los Angeles on Aug. 24, for example. The pop star stepped out in a messy sweatshirt and added a backwards cap in a lighter brown shade. When it came time to add footwear, he sported funky orange slippers to cement this ensemble as a fashion miss.

You go, Khlo! Khloe Kardashian made a bold statement in hot pink at sister Kylie Jenner's latest Kylie Cosmetics launch event at Ulta Beauty in Los Angeles on Aug. 24. The reality star rocked a head-to-toe vibrant pink ensemble that included thigh-high boots and an oversized blazer. A tiny pink bag completed the sharp monochromatic ensemble.

While we know it's time to start transitioning to a fall wardrobe, we don't think that means adding a hoodie to a sleeveless dress. Lori Harvey sported this bizarre silhouette at the "Me Time" premiere in Los Angeles on Aug. 23. The vintage Greg Lauren piece included an inexplicable hoodie, a lace-up detail at the neck and an otherwise fitted dress with asymmetrical striping. She tried to dress things up with Femme LA gold bangles and hoop earrings but unfortunately, we really couldn't get over that hood. Let's take a closer look at this major miss…

Stunning Lori Harvey can pretty much pull off anything, but we just couldn't get past the casual hood detail on this dress. It might have worked for a day of shopping and we appreciated the risky move, but at a red carpet event, it felt too casual. Though we did love those Femme LA chunky hoops!

Kim Kardashian sported a Balenciaga look we could get behind while out and about in Los Angeles on Aug. 23. The reality star paired a one-shouldered swimsuit paired with pajama pants — both emblazoned in the fashion house's logo — for a busy but interesting silhouette, then added massive earrings to infuse some sparkle.

Emily Ratajkowski stepped out in a largely sheer minidress in New York City on Aug. 19. The risky sundress, which featured a print and solid striping, was a strange choice made even more confusing with the addition of chunky black cowboy boots.

Making a better case for monochromatic style? Heidi Klum, who arrived at the "America's Got Talent" season 17 live show in Los Angeles on Aug. 17 in this sweet pale pink ensemble. Her blazer, trousers and tank top were all in complementary light pink shades, and a hot pink Hermes bag and pale pink strappy sandals rounded things out.

Nope! Sorry, Jameela Jamil, but even though this Monique Vee frock adheres to the theme — the star wore it to the premiere of her new show, "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law," in Hollywood on Aug. 15 — that didn't make it a hit. The busy halter-style gown included comic-book details that only stopped for that thigh-high slit, and the busy swirls at the bust made it a little too cartoon-ish for our taste.

Sydney Sweeney wowed in vintage Mugler at the Second Annual HCA TV Awards in Los Angeles on Aug. 13. The actress rocked a show-stopping structured minidress with an oversized belt detail and a fun off-the-shoulder velvet design all in a dark emerald green shade paired with pointy-toe silver-and-black heels. Fun fact: The dress hails from 1981 — 16 years before the "Euphoria" star was born!

Kiernan Shipka sported this questionable ensemble in New York City on Aug. 16. The star opted for a black collared top paired with teeny tiny hot pink and lavender checkered short shorts and then rounded out the odd picks with an even wilder shoe selection — bold rainbow slides in different checkered prints.

Kelsea Ballerini attended the 15th Annual Academy of Country Music Honors in Nashville on Aug. 24 in this gorgeous white gown that might be familiar to country music lovers… it's the very same sparkle-embellished Marc Bouwer gown that Shania Twain wore to the 1999 Grammys! From the high-neck to the tight white sleeves and mermaid-style skirt, it's no surprise two country icons wanted to wear this slinky number.

This look has us ready for fall! Actress Christine Ko attended the Third Arm Gallery "Only Murders in the Building" Experience in New York City on Aug. 18 in this cool Roberto Cavalli pick. We loved the all-over contrasting plaid… and the way her over-the-knee boots continued the plaid theme and paired with half of her oversized blazer!

Get ready to see a lot of green this month! Lili Reinhart arrived at the "Look Both Ways" premiere in Los Angeles on Aug. 16 in a sleeveless gown by Miu Miu in what seems to be the color of the moment — emerald green. The star added pointy-toe pumps in an even darker green hue. The shimmering frock included dazzling embellishments that we need to take a closer look at…

Dazzling! Lili Reinhart's Miu Miu number included gorgeous, shimmering paillettes in the same dark green hue as well as a semi-sheer netting up to the neck and at the midriff to keep the gown elegant.

Daisy Edgar-Jones continues to take us on a ride with her style these days — one filled with major highs and crazy lows. This next example — her look at the launch of "Bad Sisters" in London on Aug. 18 — falls in the latter category. The full Gucci getup started out strong — we loved the bubblegum pink knit top — but those shiny silver trousers lost us. She completed the look with even more Gucci in the form of embossed leather sneakers, giving us a glimpse at the Y2K trends we know we'll be seeing more of this fall. Next up? A look from the beauty that we liked much more…

Daisy Edgar-Jones took us for another turn this month at the "Where the Crawdads Sing" screening in Berlin on Aug. 10, turning up in these fun coordinates by LaDoubleJ — a feather-accented tunic paired with cropped trousers in the same bold print. Completing the look? Dark brown ankle boots to give it a youthful vibe.

We're very jealous that Awkwafina got her hands on items from the Gucci x Adidas collab, but we're not sure the premiere of "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" in New York City on Aug. 23 was the right place to rock them. The star turned up in a super-casual outfit — a shirt and tracksuit from the line paired with equally dressed-down sneakers.

Easy, breezy! Zoey Deutch stepped out in New York City on Aug. 11 in this perfect summer piece — an Ulla Johnson linen midi-length dress. The white design included long, oversized sleeves and a sweet crochet detail along the neckline. She wisely paired it with more white — platform Nodaleto Bulla Aurora sandals.

We've been waiting for short suits to take off, so we loved the idea behind the lime green coordinates that Ciara wore to a Ten To One Rum and Pronghorn event in Los Angeles on Aug. 18. her own brand. But unfortunately, the styling lost us — going sans shirt didn't work with this neckline and we weren't wild about the rolled-up sleeves. Though we didn't love the execution of the look — which was from her own brand — we did appreciate that she paired it with neon pink sandals for two bright pops of color.

Heidi Klum looked glam in green at the "America's Got Talent" season 17 live show in Los Angeles on Aug. 16. The supermodel rocked this halter-style Dolce & Gabbana gown with a plunging neckline, a ribbon-belt detail and a thigh-high slit… which helped show off her gorgeous gold sandals. But our favorite part of this flowy frock? The way it let her pose on the red carpet…

Heidi Klum struck some fun poses in this flowy Dolce & Gabbana frock, which included a fun skirt that lent itself to twirling.

Ellie Goulding took the oversized trend to new levels in New York City on Aug. 15. The singer sported this extremely large blue blouse with sleeves that extended well past her hands and wore it half-unbuttoned and tucked into high-waisted black trousers for an unfortunate business-casual vibe.

Lori Harvey left dinner in Santa Monica, California, looking impossibly cool on Aug. 14. Who knew pairing a vintage tee with a dressy miniskirt would yield such a fashion-forward look? Strappy black heels and a silver bag completed her edgy night-out ensemble.

Jena Malone donned this matronly number at the premiere of "Adopting Audrey" in Los Angeles on Aug. 22. From the high neck of the long-sleeved floral-print top to the chunky belt and pleated midi-length skirt, nothing about this fit felt youthful down to the strappy black pumps. Next!

Elizabeth Olsen nailed cool and casual while supporting her famous sisters this month. The actress wore a pale yellow button-down blouse and cream strappy sandals from The Row — the line started by her famous sisters, Mary Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen — while running errands in Los Angeles on Aug. 12, adding equally chic gray-and-white pinstriped trousers and dark shades to complete the look.

When a supermodel can't pull off a new trend, we can only hope it doesn't catch on! Alessandra Ambrosio rocked low-waisted and super-wide-legged jeans with an undone hem while heading to lunch in Beverly Hills on Aug. 20. Despite not digging the denim, we did like her sweet multi-hued knit top.

Jennifer Lopez showed how to rock a long-sleeved blouse in the summertime while out in New York City on Aug. 14. The superstar did some shopping with new stepdaughter Violet Affleck while wearing a crisp white Patou button-down shirt paired with gray bike shorts and fresh white Off-White sneakers. She added large aviator frames and a Gucci crossbody bag to complete her low-key look.

Another bold green statement this month! Rosario Dawson attended the "Clerks III" premiere in Los Angeles on Aug. 24 in this lime green shirt dress — complete with a collar and button details — featuring an all-over geometric print. While we appreciated that she was adhering to the trending color of the month, this was way too much fabric for such a loud print.

A good rule of thumb? Don't rock a bow that's bigger than you! Ema Horvath failed to heed this advice at the premiere of "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" in New York City on Aug. 23, opting to wear this Pamella Roland minidress with a seriously dramatic bow. Though we loved the summer white shade and the way she accessorized with metallics — a gold clutch and silver strappy sandals — that comically large bow lost us.

Regina Hall continued the green theme with her shimmery pantsuit at the "Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul." premiere in Los Angeles on Aug. 22. We adored her emerald green suit, complete with an all-over shimmer, and the way she paired it with a black top underneath and sandals to deliver a standout ensemble.

Lili Reinhart stepped out in New York City on Aug. 9 in a disastrous Tory Burch number. The beauty scored a fashion miss in the brand's colorblocked jersey dress in bold eggplant and neon yellow hues — a combo we don't need to see again — and topped it with a chunky black leather belt.

Katy Perry picked a fabulous shade for an appearance at the MAGIC Fashion Trade Show Las Vegas on Aug. 9, but the silhouette of her ruby red Cult Gaia knit dress lost us. A plethora of cutouts, funky sleeves and a midi-length skirt combined for an underwhelming ensemble, though we did appreciate the neutral tan sandals she added.

Coastal grandmother style is all the rage, but we weren't a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow's take on the trend when she stepped out in this look in New York City on Aug. 10. The Goop mogul sported a short-sleeved baggy white button-down blouse with khaki pedal pushers and white sneakers for a puzzling combination, adding a pop of color via a bright red bag.

This short purple shift dress from Oscar de la Renta scored Mindy Kaling a hit this month. The star arrived at NBC's "Today" show studios in New York City on Aug. 9 in the sweet confection covered in crystal embellishments, which she paired with pointy-toe pumps and drop earrings for a fabulous summertime getup.

Sienna Miller wowed in powder blue at the premiere of the series "The Sandman" in London on Aug. 3. The stylish star's knit frock by Self Portrait included a keyhole detail, sweetheart neckline and romantic flared sleeves. White leather sandals from The Row and a simple white bag completed her chic summer ensemble, which was instantly one of our favorites of the month.

Though we give her props for sporting plenty of color, we weren't wild about the tie-dye Ralph Lauren sweatsuit Jennifer Lopez rocked while heading into a dance studio in Los Angeles on Aug. 8. It just looked like a very warm outfit to be wearing in the Southern California heat. She finished the coordinates off with some stark white sneakers, pink sunnies and a green bag.

Brad Pitt turned up at the Los Angeles premiere of his film "Bullet Train" on Aug. 1 in this strange custom Haans Nicholas Mott look — a bright green wrinkled linen suit paired with a collared teal shirt. If the haphazard, bright and messy getup wasn't bad enough, the shoes added insult to injury…

Brad Pitt added these clown-like bright yellow and red striped adidas x Gucci Gazelle sneakers that would make Ronald McDonald proud.

Gorgeous! Tiffany Haddish served up one of our favorite looks of the month at the "Easter Sunday" premiere in Los Angeles on Aug. 2 — this bronze Jonathan Simkhai cowl-neck slip dress. From the barely-there spaghetti straps to the thigh-high slit, this was the perfect pick for a film premiere on a hot summer night. She added Stuart Weitzman sandals and a funky Marzook clutch with feathers to finish off this fab ensemble. Let's take a closer look…

Tiffany Haddish's Marzook clutch added some sparkle and feathers to jazz up her excellent attire at the "Easter Sunday" premiere. She also dressed things up even further with Irene Neuwirth jewels.

Zimmermann never disappoints! Maitreyi Ramakrishnan arrived at a fan screening for season 3 of her hit Netflix show, "Never Have I Ever," in New York City on Aug. 9 in this dreamy long-sleeved minidress by the brand covered in bold purple, pale blue and neutral gray embellishments featuring bell sleeves. Completing this chic look on the young star? A pair of gray Casadei platform Mary Janes.

We've grown used to Daisy Edgar-Jones nailing every red carpet lately, so this Connor Ives + The Vanguard dress was a surprise. The funky fringed frock she wore to the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland on Aug. 5 included floral embroidery and an asymmetrical neckline and hem, giving off an overall boho vibe that doesn't fit the star. The Jimmy Choo sandals were a good choice, however, as were her accessories…

Daisy Edgar-Jones added some Tiffany & Co. jewels to infuse some sparkle into her otherwise odd boho-chic ensemble. Fortunately, she rocked a look much more in line with her personal style the same day…

That same day at the Locarno Film festival in Switzerland, Aug. 5, Daisy Edgar-Jones also sported this sweet Miu Miu shirt dress featuring a white semi-sheer collared bodice paired with a stark black miniskirt. This buttoned-up pick felt much more in line with her fashion vibe lately and paired perfectly with cute Mary Janes.

Pretty in pink! Heidi Klum hit the "America's Got Talent" season 17 live show red carpet in Los Angeles on Aug. 9 in this hot pink minidress. From the sweet bow detail at the shoulder to the way she paired it with matching strappy sandals, this cheery look scored a hit from us.

We adored the shade of the electric blue pantsuit Emmanuelle Chriqui wore to the "Easter Sunday" film premiere in Los Angeles on Aug. 2… we just didn't love the styling. The star paired it with stark black accessories — a belt and peep-toe pumps plus a black bralette.

Tracee Ellis Ross showed off laid-back summer style in New York City on Aug. 9. The star sported this striped tank top tucked into high-waisted baggy jeans and finished it off with some fun accessories — big hoops, a tiny white crossbody bag and chunky white sandals.

"Vanderpump Rules" star Lala Kent rocked a puzzling getup at the MAGIC Fashion Trade Show Las Vegas on Aug. 8 — a blazer over top matching brown bike shorts and a tank top — and then dressed things down with chunky sneakers.

Jennifer Lawrence kept things cool and casual in this breezy dark brown Matteau maxidress when she stepped out for lunch in New York City on Aug. 2. The sleeveless number was perfectly accessorized with matching sandals and tortoiseshell shades from Luv Lov.

Joey King's all-white outfit at the premiere of "Bullet Train" in Los Angeles on Aug. 1 wasn't one of our favorites… The young star sported a Cong Tri dress comprised of a satin blazer with a plunging neckline and cutouts that flowed into a fringed floor-length skirt. Though we weren't wild about it, we did appreciate the unique vibe she brought to the pink carpet. Next up? A closer look at her accessories…

Joey King added a simple lengthy Shaun Leane necklace and an edgy Hirotaka ear cuff, which was on full display thanks to her slicked-down hairstyle.

Aubrey Plaza showed off cream coordinates in New York City on Aug. 9. We loved the spaghetti-strap crop top paired with a high-waisted skirt and how she completed her look with cream sandals for a chic NYC summer outfit.

Nick Jonas showed off some chic menswear style at the Cedars-Sinai Board of Governors 50th Anniversary Celebration in Inglewood, California, on Aug. 7. The musician and actor sported a printed short-sleeved burnt orange shirt with black trousers and fun silver boots.

Next up? Another fab menswear moment this month — Dave Franco's look at the "Day Shift" screening in Miami on Aug. 2. The actor rocked a monochromatic mint green Paul Smith ensemble and added bright white sneakers for a perfectly low-key South Florida look.

Mindy Kaling stepped out in bold Versace coordinates while leaving a taping of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in New York City on Aug. 8. We loved the rainbow shades of the buttoned-up jacket and miniskirt combo and the way she paired it with black sandals to give it a more casual edge.

Crop tops are everywhere this summer, but Julianne Hough showed off a new style in New York City on Aug. 2. The star donned this collared short-sleeved version with high-waisted khaki pants held up by a chunky black belt. Finishing the look? Off-white sandals and a cream-hued bag.
