Due to the flammability hazard, Health Canada is recalling H&M girls’ pajamas.

The recall involves the H&M girl's ribbed two-piece pajamas with viscose-polyester-elastic fiber blends. The model number 1044037 is marked on the label, and the UPC codes are 1044037001 (light pink) and 1044037002 (grey brown).

Urge customers to immediately stop using the recalled products and contact the company for a refund. 98 affected products were sold to Canadian consumers. The recalled products will be sold from October 2021 to November 2021.

Health Canada has determined that these products do not meet the flammability requirements of the Children's Nightwear Regulations for children's sleepwear. Compared with tight-fitting pajamas, loose children’s pajamas are more likely to come into contact with fire sources, candles, matches and other fire sources. Once ignited, they will burn quickly and may cause serious burns on children's bodies.

As of December 3, 2021, the company has not received any reports of accidents or injuries in Canada.
